Did Afghan Taliban threaten India with war?

Social media in Pakistan on Sunday was flooded with claims that Afghan Taliban has announced to wage war against India.

The unconfirmed reports started doing the rounds on social media after a Taliban official based in the organization’s political office in Qatar commented on New Delhi’s role in Afghanistan.

The Taliban official criticized India, saying that New Delhi has always supported traitors in Afghanistan and never played a positive role.

He did not threatened India with war in his statement. Reports doing the rounds on Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms are incorrect.
