Dr Afia Siddiqui not dead

Islamabad: Rumors are doing the rounds on social regarding the death of Pakistani scientist Dr Afia Siddiqui who is languishing in a US jail.

Hundreds of Pakistanis took to social media to express their thoughts on the rumors about the passing away of Siddiqui.

No official statement was released either by the US government or the US Embassy in Islamabad.

Meanwhile, well informed sources said that Dr Afia Siddiqui was alive.
