Dr Junaid Khan PhD shot dead in Charsadda days before his marriage

Peshawar: A man who had completed his PhD degree was shot dead in Charsadda district of Khyber Paktunkhwa on Saturday when he left the house of his in-laws.

Dr Junaid Khan was gunned down by unknown men shortly after he came out of the house of his fiancee.

The slain was due to marry his fiancee next month.

Resident of the area have called on the authorities to arrest the people behind the brutal murder.

Exact motive behind the murder was yet to be ascertained as police launched an inquiry into the case.
