Ehsas SMS Program: How to get cash under PM’s initiative amid coronavirus outbreak

The government has announced a relief initiative for the 1.2 million Pakistani families to get Rs 12,000 under PM’s Ehsas Program to offset economic impact of lockwons in the wake of coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Dr Sania Nishtar on Wednesday took to Twitter to share the application process.

A picture shared by Nishtar answers the question “How to apply for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program” in both the English and Urdu languages .

The Prime Minister just launched the @Ehsaas_PK Emergency Cash initiative in response to #COVID19, the largest-ever social protection initiative in the history of Pakistan. 12 million families (72 million individuals) will receive Rs. 12,000 each.
