Eid-ul-Fitr 2019: Met office says good chance of Shawal moon sighting on 29 Ramadan

Karachi: There is good chance of sighting of the new moon of Shawal on the evening of 04-06-2019 on 29th of Ramadan, Met Office said on Wednesday citing astronomical parameters.
According to the met office, climate record predicts weather is expected to be fair or partly cloudy in most of the country on June 4.
It said the new moon of Shawal will be born on crossing conjunction point at 15-02 PST on 03–06-2019.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and considered a gift from almight Allah for those who fast during the holy month and seek forgiveness for their sins.
Muslims fast from dawn until sunset during the month of Ramadan which ends with sighting of Shawal moon on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Sighting of Shawal moon on June means Eid-ul-Fitr 2019 falls on June 5.
