Erdogan avenges 2020 humiliation by Putin in Iran

Tehran: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan avenged his humiliation at the hands of President Vladimir Putin by making the Russian strongman wait for him in front of cameras in Iran.

Journalist Joyce Karam said it was a sweet payback for the Turkish leader who was humiliated by Putin who made him wait two minutes in 2020.

The video of two leader’s meeting shared by the journalist has been watched more than three million times.

She said the video of Putin waiting for his Turkish counterpart was shot with closeups on the Russian president’s face by Turkey’s state-run news agency Anadolu.
