Fact-check: British Airways flights to Pakistan not suspended over fuel shortage

Islamabad: The reports that the British Airways grounded all flights to Pakistan due to unavailability of fuel are fake.

Senior Aviation journalist Tahir Imran Mian said, “This is absolute nonsense.There is no fuel shortage.”

He said that the British Airways like many other airlines have staff shortage and that is the cause of the suspension of operations.”

Tahir Imran, arguably the most informed Pakistani reporter on aviation, said that the staff shortage is wreaking havoc to aviation business as a whole and in Europe specifically.”
