Fact-check: Video of Aimal Wali Khan stealing money from flood relief fund is fake

Peshawar: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Aimal Wali Khan has been accused of stealing money from the flood relief fund in a propaganda campaign online.

A video of Khan picking a wad of currency notes from a donation box and putting it into his side pocket has been spread on social media by his political opponents.

A look into the clip shows that a false impression has been created by using reverse video tools online.

In the original video, Aimal Wali Khan asks his supporters to donate money to help flood victims after he pulls the wad of notes from his pocket to donate for the cause.
