Fawad Chaudhry sparks outrage with ‘bathroom’ remarks about Pathans

Islamabad: PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry is receiving backlash for his remarks about Pakthoons.

Appearing on Kashif Abbasi’s show, the former minister made inappropriate remarks about former FIA director Bashir Memon and Imran Khan’s former principal secretary Azam Khan.

Hundreds of people took to social media to record protest against Fawad Chaudhry and ARY channel which let his remarks go on air’.

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) issued a show-cause notice to ARY News over Fawad Chaudhry’s racist remarks targeting Pashtuns on a talk show.

ANP leader Aimal Wali Khan also condemned the PTI leader for what he said ridiculing the Pashtun nation.

He also criticized Kashif Abbasi for smiling on Fawad Chaudhry’s remarks.

The Lota @fawadchaudhry was ridiculing the Pashtun Nation live on National Television, and the host @Kashifabbasiary smiled. It is unfortunate to see this behaviour towards our nation. I would request the whole nation to #BoycottARYNews until they tender an on-air apology.
