Foreign journalist says he will be surprised if Imran Khan lives a long life

Islamabad: Journalist and author CJ Warleman on Thursday said he would be surprised if former Pakistan prime minister avoids assassination and lives a long life.

He made the observation in a tweet, without Elaborating on what makes him think Khan’s life is in danger.

CJ Werleman says he is “an internationally renowned journalist who exposes injustices against Muslim communities throughout the world.”

His comments received mixed reactions, with Khan’s opponents accused him of posting such tweets for “likes”.

Imran Khan is making headlines in the international media after the government registered a case against him on the charges of terrorism.

The PTI chairman says the government intends to knock him out on technical grounds.
