France will take action against Afghan who abused General Bajwa?
Islamabad: Senior Pakistani journalist Aqeel Yousafzai said action has been initiated against the Afghan who recently abused former Pakistan army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa in France.
He said the man has been identified by the French authorities and an arrest order issued against him. Citing an Afghan news agency, Aqeel Yousafzai said that a fine of 12,000 Euro could also be imposed on the man who also faces deportation from France.
But the journalist’s claim has been dismissed by human rights activists who said no action can be taken against the Afghan man for abusing General (retd) Bajwa.
An activist said the man can abuse the French president in public and still get off scot-free because of European laws.
