Full text of LHC judgement on Hamza Shehbaz: Usman Buzdar not restored as Punjab CM

Islamabad: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday declared the election of Hamza Shehbaz as Punjab Chief Minister null and void and ordered a fresh election on Friday.

Journalists associated with the PTI said that Usman Buzdar has been restored as the Punjab chief minister after the verdict.

That’s not true. The speculation was based on a dissenting note written by a member of the high court bench.

Hamza Shehbaz is most likely to remain the cheif minister of Punjab after the fresh election.
