Gen Bajwa tells Aftab Iqbal he has audio tapes of secret meetings with Imran Khan

Lahore: After being targeted by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for months and being held responsible for anything wrong that happened during his stint with Imran Khan, former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa seems to have run out of patience with the former prime minister.

According to Tv anchor Aftab Iqbal, General Bajwa told him that he has audio tapes of meetings with Imran Khan where the PTI chairman used to praise him for targeting Nawaz Sharif.

Iqbal said General Bajwa revealed that he himself had recorded the tapes of his meetings with Khan without any knowledge of his ISI chief Lt. General (retd) General Faiz Hameed.

In the history of love affairs gone sour, Imran-Bajwa break up will top the list.

Aftab Iqbal’s claim comes a day after Imran Khan said he was removed from office by General Bajwa and not the United States.

In a Voice of America interview, Imran Khan said General Bajwa made the US believe that he was an anti-American.
