Google Doodle celebrates Pakistan’s Independence Day 2021
Google is celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day as the Islamic Republic turns 75. The internet giant designed a special doodle containing a picture of a historical fort with a green strip.
The logo started appearing on the home page of Google after 12:00 am on August 14, to mark the day when Pakistan became an independent state after decades of struggle and sacrifices rendered by millions of Muslims in the subcontinent to set themselves free from the British rule.
The country went on to become the first nuclear power in the Muslim world in 1998 after waging several wars against India,
As the country turns 75th, new challenges are emerging on the horizon due to uncertainty in neighboring Afghanistan after US drawn down.
