Hamid Mir’s brother Amir Mir appointed caretaker information minister in Punjab

Lahore: Journalist Amir Mir, the brother of anchor Hamid Mir has been included int the caretaker cabinet of Punjab.

Amir Mir has been given the portfolio of information minister in the province where Mohsin Raza Naqvi was appointed as the caretaker chief minister after former chief minister Pervez Elahi dissolve the Punjab Assembly.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has objected the selection of Naqvi as the caretaker chief minister.

The party has also expressed reservations over the appointment of Amir Mir who is known as a staunch critic of Imran Khan.
