Has Major Adil Raja been summoned by UK’s Metropolitan Police?
London: Major (retd) Adil Raja has claimed that he has not received any letter from the UK’s Metropolitan Police.
Several journalists on Friday said the police have summoned Adil Raja as part of an inquiry into his online activities on social networking websites.
A purported Metropolitan Police letter doing the rounds on social media said Raja had violated the “Protection From Harassment Act 1997” and the “Defamation Act 2013” of the UK law.
UK-based journalist Farid Ahmed said the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the letter is fake.
Raja said the letter being spread online is fake.
