Iftikhar Chaudhry’s death reports fact-checked

Islamabad: Reports are doing the rounds on WhatsApps and social media websites groups that former Supreme Court chief justice Iftikhamr Muhammad Chaudhry has died.

The reports are incorrect.No main stream media has reported the death of the former CJ and the chairman of the Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party.

Chaudhry served as the 20th Chief Justice of Pakistan over three non-consecutive terms from 29 June 2005 to 11 December 2013.
