Imran Khan accused of blasphemy after edited video goes viral
Islamabad: PTI leader Azhar Mashwani on Wednesday condemned what he said the campaign against former prime minister Imran Khan who was accused of blasphemy by his critics after his speech at the workers convention.
Mashwani attacked journalist who had shared the video in a tweet, saying an edited version of Khan’s speech was being spread to vilify him.
The journalists and PTI opponents were quick to react when Khan’s video emerged only a couple of days after former Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari was accused of playing “religion card” against Miftah Ismail, the new finance minister.
