Imran Khan says was under pressure to recognize Israel
Peshawar: Former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said he was pressurized to recognize Israel.
Talking to YouTubers and reporters, he said he was told that recognition of Israel was in the best interest of Pakiatan.
“I refused categorically,” he said without revealing who pressurized him to recognize the Jewish state.
His statement came two days after Israeli president revealed that he had met a delegation of Pakistani Americans.
Imran Khan and his supporters have accused the incumbent government of making efforts to accept Israel.
Khan blames the United States for his removal through a no-confidence motion.
