Imran Khan targets army chief in video message as police surround Zaman Park

Lahore: Former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday released a video message as large contingent of police and paramilitary troops surrounded his Zaman Park residence.

In his message, Khan said police wanted to arrest him, urging Pakistanis to continue their struggle if he is arrested or killed in custody.

Imran Khan asked his followers not to accept the servility of the looters and corrupt elements.

“And do not accept the decisions which one person is taking for this country,” he said without naming anyone.

Political commentators and his supporters think Imran Khan referred to the army chief in his cryptic message to the nation.
