Islamabad: Panic grips DHA as leopard enters a house

Islamabad: The Islamabad Wildlife Management Board dispatched its teams to the DHA to rescue a leopard which entered a house after creating chaos on the street.

Videos of the leopard showed the cat chasing people as it apparently sought to run away from the area.

The animal was then seen entering a house where it was surrounded by the rescuers.

The leopard was later caught alive from the basement of a house.

A journalist said the leopard is owned by a retired army general, a resident of DHA.

The claim could not be independently confirmed.

The wildlife officials said they plan to release the animal into the forest.
