Islamabad Police raid Khokar House to arrest Farrukh Khokar

Islamabad: Police on Saturday said a raid was conducted on the Khokar House to arrest Farrukh Khokar, the son of Taji Khokar, for grabbing the land of an overseas Pakistani.

The police said that the suspect was not present at the Khokar House at the time of the raid. They said that police teams are carrying out raids to arrest Farrukh Khokar.

The police said in a statement that no one would be allowed to grab property of any citizen. “Islamabad police have tightened the noose around land mafia. People involved in the land grabbing would be brought to justice,” said the statement.

Meanwhile, an Islamabad-based journalist said that Maulana Tariq Jamil recently attended the death anniversary of Taji Khokar at the Khokar House on the invitation of Farrukh Khokar.
