Jason Statham supporting Palestine in viral video?
Thousands of people have circulated a video which they believe shows Hollywood actor Jason Statham expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza amid Israeli bombardment.
A large number of people visited the actor’s Instagram account and thanked him for supporting Palestine in the comments section of one of his pictures.
The viral video shows a man with an uncanny resemblance to Statham placing a Palestinian flag on his car.
But the captions that suggests it is the Hollywood actor are incorrect.
The man seen in the video is not Jason Statham.
He has chosen not to publicly speak on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The actor was not among the celebrities who wrote an open letter to US President Joe Biden, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
