Kamran Khan advocates Pakistan-Israel relations
Karachi: Senior journalist and popular anchorperson Kamran Khan has urged Pakistan to seriously review its policy towards Israel.
Apparently angered by Arabs and rapprochement in the throes of crisis in Kashmir, Khan said Pakistan should also immediately take a decision in its own interest.
“For 40 years, Israel has wanted to establish diplomatic ties with Pakistan,” he said adding that Islamabad remains indifferent thinking that it will offend Arab countries.
“But now not only these (Arabs) friends have relations with Israel, they have also embraced Pakistan’s foe Modi as their brother,” Khan said in an Urdu language Tweet on August 25.
The tweet earned over 19, 000 likes and over 3000 retweets, with over 6000 followers expressing their own views in replies.
The anchor has come under strong criticism for his tweet in support of Jewish state.
