Kanwal Shauzab seeks justice after ‘deep fake’ video sent to her daughter
Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded Chief of Pakistan take notice of harassment its MNA Kanwal Shauzab faced at the hands of unknown people.
The MNA said the video sent to her teenaged daughter was a deep fake video of her.
The PTI issued a Twitter statement after the MNA said her daughter was sent a doctored video of her.
Kanwal Shauzab said she was targeted for not leaving Pakistan in the face of atrocities meted out to her party.
“We will not forget this fascism and shameful campaign against our women,” the PTI said.
Addressing the chief justice, the party said, “The nation needs speedy action against the blackmailers.”
