Karachi: Mystery shrouds death of a child at BBQ Tonight

Karachi: A minor was killed when a stray bullet hit the child in the head during the dinner at BBQ Tonight restaurant in Clifton Karachi.

Police said the two-year old Ali Asad was first shifted to the South City Hospital from where he was moved to the Agha Khan hospital for treatment.

The police said they have launched an investigation into the incident.

Senior journalist Mazhar Abbas said he spoke to the family of the minor.

Taking to Twitter he said,”Mystery still shrouds the tragic death of a two-year old boy killed when a family went for a dinner at Bar-B.Q. Tonight, last Sunday. Just spoken to the family who confirmed and narrated the whole story. It was just one fatal bullet fired but no one knows from where.”

Social media users have criticized the civil society for not raising its voice over the incident.
