Lt. Gen (retd) Amjad Shoaib arrested for targeting state institutions

Islamabad: Lt. General (retd) Amjad Shoaib has been arrested, his family said.

According to BOL News, Shoaib’s family said he was taken into custody during a raid at his house.

Amjad Shuaib was by the Islamabad police for inciting the public against national institutions.

An First was filed against the former army officer at the Ramna police station following his television interview.

The former military general is known as a staunch supporter of Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

He has been criticizing the PTI opponents on social media and the mainstream media for many years now.
