Lt. General Shahid Imtiaz is not the new DG ISI

Islamabad: Reports about the appointment of Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz as the new Director General of the ISI are incorrect.

According to sources in the Defence Ministry, Lt. General Nadeem Anjum is still working as the DG ISI.

The reports about the appointment of Lt. General Noman Zakaria as new Chairman of NADRA have also been rejected by the sources.

New appointments, transfers and postings are announced by the ISPR, the media wing of the Pakistan army.
