Miftah Ismail criticized for using Sania Ashiq’s dupatta to wipe his nose

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Miftah Ismail is under fire after he was caught using Punjab MPA Sania Ashiq’s dupatta to wipe his nose.

The incident happened during Maryam Nawaz’s media talk where other leaders of the party stood behind her.

“Shocked after seeing this video. Miftah Ismail violated Sania Ashiq’s personal space repeatedly. She looks so uncomfortable. . This is the kind of misogyny, bullying and harassment women face in public places,” wrote a user while commenting on the video that has been watched by thousands of people online.

Sania Ashiq, who recently got married is a young PML-N lawmaker in Punjab Assembly. She often accompanies Maryam Nawaz during PML-N rallies and press conferences.
