MPA Sania Ashiq’s husband becomes PM Shehbaz’s Focal Person on Digital Media

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Abubakar Umer as his Focal Person on Digital Media.

Umer recently got married to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) MPA Sania Ashiq, who is known as a close confidante of Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

In a Twitter statement, Umer said he is honored and humbled to be notified.

“To ensure safe online spaces to people especially women children and minorities is going to be our top priority so that vulnerable people are protected against digital harassment and other pressures.”
