Nawaz Sharif reacts to Shehbaz Sharif’s arrest

London: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz superemo Nawaz Sharif on Monday said the arrested of Shehbaz Sharif has placed the stamp of approval on the resolution passed by the All Parties Conference (APC).

Taking to Twitter, the former prime minister said Shehbaz Sharif had already made it clear that all the decisions taken by the APC would be implemented no matter what.

He said that such tactics could not make him cave in under pressure.

آج شہباز شریف کو گرفتار کر کے اس کٹھ پتلی نظام نے APC کی قرارداد کی توثیق کی ہے۔ شہباز شریف نے پہلے ہی کہہ دیا تھا کہ وہ جیل کے اندر ہوں یا باہر، APC میں کئیے گئے تمام فیصلوں پر عمل درآمد ہو گا۔ کوئی اس غلط فہمی میں نہ رہے کہ ایسے اوچھے ہتھکنڈوں سے ہمیں جھکایا جا سکتا ہے۔

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz, while talking to the media, said instead of arresting Shehbaz Sharif Gen (retd) Asilm Salim Bajwa would have been arrested had there been any semblance of law in the country.
