No curfew in Sindh, says minister amid virus crisis
Karachi: The Sindh government is not going to impose a curfew in Karachi or any part of the province.
Taking to Twitter, Education Minister Saeed Ghani wrote in Urdu language that no decision has been made to impose a complete curfew or a lockdown in Sindh.
“Chief minister has appealed to people to remain confined to their houses during the three holidays on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Pakistan Day),” he wrote.
The minister also called on the media to refrain from running any news without verification.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has requested the deployment of army troops in the province in aid to civil power.
