Noor ul Hassan, morbidly obese man, dies after surgery
Lahore: Noor ul Hasan, a morbidly obese man from Sadiqabad, passed away on Monday days after undergoin what was called a successful surgery in Lahore.
Hassan was airlifted from his hometown after he made a public appeal for help.
Doctors said Noor ul Hassan died of heart attack.
The 330kg man from Sadiqabad was being treated at the hospital with the help of Pakistan army.
Military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted, “COAS (Army Chief) expresses grief on sad demise of Mr Noor Hassan, earlier air lifted to Lahore for treatment at private hospital.
He said “Will of Allah is to be done while one can only make an effort. May Allah bless the departed soul. Aamen”, COAS.
