Pakistan accuses Twitter of becoming Modi mouthpiece after president receives notice

Islamabad: Twitter sparked outrage in Pakistan after it sent notice to president of the country for tweeting about Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari shared a screenshot of the email President Arif Alvi received from Twitter, saying the social netwrok has gone too far in becoming the mouthpiece of the Rogue Modi government.

The email read: “We have received a complaint regarding your account @ArifAlvi for following content.

We have investigated the reported content and could not identify any violations of the Twitter rules.

Accordingly, we have not taken any action at this time. ”

Although Twitter said it has taken no action, the minister found its email in bad taste and “simply ridiculous”.

The users have criticized the Twitter for sending the email to President of Pakistan for a tweet that was posted to express solidarity with people of Occupied Kashmir.
