Pervez Musharraf’s family dismisses death rumors

Dubai: The family of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has dismissed the reports regarding his death.

It, however, confirmed that Mushrraf was in hospital in a condition where recovery was not possible.

In a statement issued on Musharraf’s official Twitter account, his family asked people to people to pray for him.

Message from Family:

“He is not on the ventilator. Has been hospitalized for the last 3 weeks due to a complication of his ailment (Amyloidosis). Going through a difficult stage where recovery is not possible and organs are malfunctioning. Pray for ease in his daily living.”

Pervez Musharraf ruled Pakiatan for almost nine years till 2008 after removing the then prime minister Nawaz sharif in a bloodless coup in 1999.
