PM Imran meets US President Donald Trump
Washington: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday met with US President Donald Trump.
The prime minister was received by the host at the White House before the meeting.
The meeting followed an informal media talk where the US President spoke about the relations between Pakistan and his country.
The president also responded to questions asked by reporters.
The President left many people surprised with his remarks about Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan.
He offered to mediate the decades-long Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India, a move that would signal a shift in long-standing US policy that the issue must be solved bilaterally.
“If I can help, I would love to be a mediator,” Trump said . “If I can do anything to help, let me know,” the president said before the two leaders went for a meeting.
The prime minister also posed for cameras with President Trump and the First Lady.
