PTI leader defends Maya Ali after she praises General Qamar Javed Bajwa
Actress Maya Ali became top Twitter trend in Pakistan after hundreds of PTI supporters and journalists trolled her for praising Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa during the Defence and Martyrs Day ceremony on Wednesday.
Most of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf followers seemed to forget that Maya Ali is known as a staunch supporter of Imran Khan until PTI leader Azhar Mashwani reminded them of her loyalty to the former prime minister.
Several memes targeting the actress were also shared under the hashtag #MayaAli.
