Punjab not banning co-education in colleges says minister

Lahore: The Higher Education Department has not issued any notification about co-education in collages, said Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, the Minister for Higher Education.

He was reacting to the reports that Punjab has banned co-education in BS (hons) programs.

“Please stop spreading fake news on media,” he said in a Twitter statement.

Earlier, some major media outlets had reported that the provincial educational authorities have banned the co-education in private colleges.
