Punjab Police officer Merry Rose commits suicide in Rahim Yar Khan

Multan: A female police officer committed suicide in Rahim Yar Khan, south Punjab, police said on Tuesday.

Sub-Inspector Merry Rose was deployed at the Police Station A Division.

Her body was taken to Shaikh Zaid Hospital for post mortem examination.

Merry Rose’s husband is also a patrolling officer in the Motorway Police.

Rose, who apparently ended her life over domestic fights with her husband, left a suicide note on the window of her room before taking poison.

In the note, she wished for her two daughters to be married to ‘humans”.

She also wrote that her daughters would visit her grave when she is gone.
