Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad closed after clashes between Baloch and Pakhtun students

Islamabad: The Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad has been closed after violent clashes between two student groups.

According to a statement, the university will remain closed till further orders due to precarious law and order situation.

The clashes took place between Baloch and Pakhtun student groups, eyewitnesses said.

Pashtoon Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leader Manzoor Pashteen lamented the clashes between the groups of students who he said belongs to two oppressed ethnic groups.

He requested the two groups to end their differences and establish peace.
