Quaid-e-Azam University student gang raped in Islamic University Islamabad

Islamabad:A 24-year-old student of the Quaide-e-Azam University has been gang raped in the Islamic University Islamabad.

Rector of the Islamic University has confirmed that the incident was bright into their knowledge after security In- charge of their institution took the victim to PIMS for medical check-up.

He said the student did not want the incident to be reported to police.

The victim, who was working as a delivery boy, was kept in the Hostel 1 of the Islamic University for a night and subjected to abuse by three men.

A local journalist said the university administration allegedly stopped the victim from lodging a case against the culprits.

Two suspects who have been fired by university are identified as Mehmood Ashraf and Ibraheem Khan.

One of the suspect is said to be the brother of an influential university official.
