Romanians wait in their vehicles to pick up refugees after Russian invasion

Kyiv: Thousands of Romanians have been waiting in their personal vehicles to pick up refugees at one of the borders with Ukraine as thousands of people fled war in their country.

Hundreds of people have been killed and infrastructure destroyed as Russian President Putin ordered his troops into Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie said more than 50,000 people have fled Ukraine in less than 48 hours.

The actress who is also United Nations Special Envoy for Refugees shared a video from Ukraine’s border with Moldova where refugees are seen entering the Eastern European country.
