The court said it would no more intervene in the matter.

The ruling came was a three-judge  bench of the country’s top court, headed by Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, heard the case regarding advance tax on cellphone cards, revoking its earlier orders passed June last year.

Former chief justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar had taken notice of the high levy charged on mobile phone cards questioning deduction of  Rs 40 from Rs 100 mobile cards.
