Shah Mahmood Qureshi hasn’t quit PTI, says family
Islamabad: Shortly after Shireen Mazari announced to quit politics and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, a TV channel reported that PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has also left the party.
The news was aired by private broadcaster 92 News channel.
Qureshi’s family said the politician from Multan remains loyal to the PTI and Imran Khan and reports regarding him leaving the party are incorrect.
The former foreign minister is in Adiala Jail since his arrest following the attack on Corps Commander House in Lahore.
Senior PTI leader Asad Umar was also arrested on the same day and he also remains in custody.
Meanwhile, Fayazul Hassan Chauhan announced to quit PTI at a press conference on Thursday.
