Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Qatar coincided with Mossad delegation’s trip claims journalist
Islamabad: A Dawn correspondent on Thursday claimed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Qatar coincided with a trip by a delegation of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service.
Baqir Sajjad, who is affiliated with Pakistan’s leading English newspaper as foreign affairs correspondent, observed that proximity of the Pakistani and Israeli jets in the parking area was interesting.
Sajjad shared the information with an aim to seek “insights”.
Commenting on Sharif’s visit, senior journalist Faseeh Mangi said Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund may invest about $3 billion in key sectors of Pakistan.
The journalist said, “Qatar is evaluating strategic investments in Islamabad and Karachi airports, as well as in the renewable energy, power and hospitality sectors.”
Meanwhile, the prime minister has returned to Pakistan after a two-day official visit to Qatar.
