So proud of Malala as always: Atiqa Odho

Atiqa Odho was one of the few Pakistani celebrities who praised Malala Yousafzai amid all the criticism on the young Nobel laureate for her latest remarks about marriage.

The Pakistani actress said she is so proud of Malala as always after the girls education activist graced the cover of famous magazine “Vogue”.

Atiqa praised Malala as several Pakistani TV and film stars criticized her for what they said opposing marriage.

Some male actors went on to launch personal attacks on the UK-based Pakistani activist but Atiqa shared Malala’s Vogue cover on her Instagram account and praised her without mentioning her remarks about marriage.

Malala is receiving backlash in Pakistan for saying she can’t understand why people have to get married and sign papers to live together and why can’t they have partnership instead of getting married.

Malala’s father Ziauddin Yousafzai has said that her daughter’s comments about marriage were taken out of context.
