Tableeghi Jamaat banned from operating in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Saudi Arabian authorities have banned the Tableeghi Jamaat from carrying out its activities in the kingdom.

In a circular issued recently, Saudi religious authority asked the government to take necessary measures to prevent the Tableeghi Jamaat and other organizations from preaching their believes which are not in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

Tableeghi Jamaat was already banned in Saudi Arabia and new orders have been issued to curb the organization’s activities being carried out by some people without using the Jamaat’s name.
