Tariq Mateen’s brother Athar Mateen killed in Karachi robbery

Karachi: Athar Mateen, a senior producer of Samaa TV, was shot dead by robbers in Karachi on Friday.

The younger brother of anchor and YouTuber Tariq Mateen was trying to foil a robbery by hitting dacoits when he was killed.

Athar Mateen hit the robbers who managed to survive the impact and shot fired at him.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and senior journalists have expressed condolences to Tariq Mateen over the death of his brother.

Tariq Mateen said that the Sindh government was responsible for the killing of his brother.
