Thari Miwah teacher accused of raping students arrested

Khairpur: Sindh police on Friday said that they have arrested the teacher who has been accused of raping students and making videos of the abuse.

The police swung into action after purported videos of the teacher identified as Sarang Shar from Thari Miwah area of Khairpur started circulating on social media.

The Sindh police shared a picture of the suspect on Twitter with a statement that said an FIR has been registered against Sarang.

“Khairpur Police takes immediate action on an incident of sodomy against two students in Thari Mirwah. Registered FIR and arrested the main culprit Sarang Shar within 24hrs. IGP appreciates the efforts and announces reward of Rs. 200k for the team,” said the statement issued by the police.
