Two policemen killed in clashes with TLP

Lahore: Two policemen were killed during clashes with the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan as thousands of workers of the religious party started their march to Islamabad from Lahore’s Yateem Khana.

The police said head Constable Ayub and Constable Khalid lost their lives during clashes with banned TLP protestors.

Meanwhile, the administration has blocked all the entry and exit points in Islamabad to prevent the TLP workers from entering the capital.

The TLP is demanding the release of its leader Saad Hussain Rizvi who was arrested during the party’s protests that were aimed at expelling the French ambassador from Pakistan.
